Lighthouse for Life: Human Trafficking Community Education Virtual Class
Thursday, October 16 | 6:30 PM
Participants: Ages 12+
Lighthouse for Life is a biblically based organization in South Carolina with the mission to eradicate human trafficking by educating our communities and empowering survivors. Lighthouse for Life’s community education trainings are individually tailored to various audiences to equip them best to prevent, identify, report and support the fight against human trafficking.
Their survivor services include two programs: their residential home (Karis home), which is designed for female victims of sex trafficking (ages 12-21), and their survivor program. Their survivor support program, housed at their drop-in center, The Harbor, includes services such as short- and long-term case management, showers, laundry facilities, meals, support groups, and life skills training.
This virtual class is for anyone interested in learning about human trafficking right here in South Carolina and the amazing ways God is using Lighthouse for Life to fight it.
Once you register, you will receive an email confirmation with more information about how to attend this virtual class and a Zoom link. The confirmation email will also include contact information for your Missions Captain, Mike Hinzman. You may contact Mike if you have any questions.
